PART II - I have recieved an activation e-mail, now what?
PART I - Submitting a Request form
1. Go to the Form
2. Please verify your name and e-mail address. If there is no name or e-mail address in the boxes please enter them. It is very important to enter your correct e-mail as the activation code you will use later will be sent to this e-mail address.
Go to the SPEL website. (preferably in a second brower). You can do either a key word search using the search box on the right side of the screen, or use the categories on the left hand side of the screen to find the item you would like to sign up for. Find the Title and ISBN (use only the 13 digit version), and copy and paste them into the form. When copying the ISBN it is ok to have the dashes and * included. These will automatically be removed later for easier process of the data.
SAS Publishing material such as Books and Course Notes can be picked up through the NCSU Bookstore or privatly.
3.Enter the Title of the SPEL lesson you want
4.Enter the ISBN number of the SPEL lesson you want
5. Please select your SAS ability and Reason(s) for using SPEL.
6. Click submit.
7. If you have errors on the page they will be indicated. Please correct them and submit the form again. Othewise, review the information to make sure it is correct.
8. If the submission process was completed successfully, you should be taken to the Thank You page.
Please note, it make take a few days for an activation code to be e-mailed to you
PART II - I have recieved an activation number in an e-mail, now what?
1. Go to SAS SPEL homepage
2. You need to have a profile to use SPEL. If you already have one continue on to the next step. If not, Please make a profile before you continue.
3. In the Quick Search box, choose ISBN, type your first ISBN number in the Find box, and click Find.
4. Click Add to Cart. A check mark will appear above the shopping cart image.
5. If you have access to more than one product and you choose to register all products at the same time, repeat steps 3 and 4 for the remaining e-learning selections.
6. In the upper-right section of this page, click Your Cart. Your shopping cart should contain the product(s) that you are currently registering to use.
7. Click Checkout.
8. Read the License Agreement, and select Yes to accept
9. Scroll down to Billing Information, verify that your profile information
is correct, and select either Business or Residential
10. Under Payment Information, choose Activation Code, type in the activation
code(s) that correspond to the product(s) for which you are registering. If
you are registering for more than one product, make sure to enter all the
corresponding activation codes.
11. Click Press Here to Order
12. You can access the training immediately, by clicking the link support.sas.com/myelearn on the "Thank you" page. E-mail confirmation of your order will be sent to you.
Note: An activation code can only be used once. Once it has been registered to your account there is no need to register again.
