$1 Million, 5-Year Software and Services Grant
NC State University is the campus where SAS software was initially developed more than a quarter-century ago.
SAS Institute is the world's largest privately held software company. With more than 3.5 million users at more than 31,000 customer sites in 110 countries. SAS provides software solutions to meet the needs of decision-makers in business, government and education.
SAS SoftwareSAS Institute develops, markets and supports data warehousing and decision support software. Among its software offerings is an integrated suite of information delivery and decision support tools. SAS software collects data from almost every platform and data format; cleans and transforms that data into information decision makers will understand; and stores it in an open data warehouse structure. SAS software also provides multidimensional data analysis (OLAP), query and reporting, enterprise information system (EIS) capabilities, data mining, data visualization and application development capabilities. SAS solutions are client/server and Web enabled.
In addition, SAS Institute delivers solutions that are complete packages for financial consolidation and reporting, clinical trials analysis, human resources management and information technology (IT) services management.
SAS Consulting and Training ServicesSAS Institute provides consulting services that include expertise in software, industry and functional areas. SAS Consulting services are designed to assist clients with maximizing the benefits of SAS software solutions in addressing their unique needs.
SAS Institute also offers comprehensive training curricula consisting of more than 50 courses that address all aspects of SAS software. The courses generally involve interactive training combining lectures, software demonstrations, hands-on computer workshops and course notes. Public training courses are taught at Institute training facilities throughout North America. Institute staff are also available to provide on-site training.
